elevated gh2lf It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Hilaire Perera surrounded by loved ones on Friday, May 5th, 2023 at the age of 79.
elevated gh2lf Hilaire was a quiet soul who relished the simple pleasures of life. He was a highly intelligent, hardworking Aerospace Reliability Engineer, and a devoted family man. He dearly loved his wife, Charmaine, who was his rock throughout their 50 years of marriage. He adored his 3 children and was a wonderful father to Shawn (Melissa), Ian (Bekki), and Jessica. Hilaire was a proud Grandpa to Lia, Henley, Eveley, and Kai and he fought for more time to see his precious grandchildren grow up.
elevated gh2lf Knowing that he is at peace in God’s care and reunited with his beloved daughter (Jessica), mother (Mary Lilian Anthony), father (Cyril Victor Perera), and brother (Sumithra Finian Perera), brings comfort.
elevated gh2lf To honour Hilaire’s memory, the family is holding a Celebration of Life on Friday, May 12th at Holy Cross Funeral Home.

Ananda and family had been a part of our family for over 40 years. We have seen each others children grow up. It is heart breaking to hear of Ananda’s sudden passing. Our deepest condolences to dear Charmaine, Shawn’s family & Ian’s family. May he be in the arms of Jesus until we meet again on that beautiful shore.
