elevated 0ynpM It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Hilaire Perera surrounded by loved ones on Friday, May 5th, 2023 at the age of 79.

elevated 0ynpM Hilaire was a quiet soul who relished the simple pleasures of life. He was a highly intelligent, hardworking Aerospace Reliability Engineer, and a devoted family man. He dearly loved his wife, Charmaine, who was his rock throughout their 50 years of marriage. He adored his 3 children and was a wonderful father to Shawn (Melissa), Ian (Bekki), and Jessica. Hilaire was a proud Grandpa to Lia, Henley, Eveley, and Kai and he fought for more time to see his precious grandchildren grow up.

elevated 0ynpM Knowing that he is at peace in God’s care and reunited with his beloved daughter (Jessica), mother (Mary Lilian Anthony), father (Cyril Victor Perera), and brother (Sumithra Finian Perera), brings comfort.  

elevated 0ynpM To honour Hilaire’s memory, the family is holding a Celebration of  Life on Friday, May 12th at Holy Cross Funeral Home.
