elevated qG4y2 It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Ida Di Girolamo on January 12, 2026, at the age of 78. Born in San Sisto dei Valdesi, Cosenza, Calabria, Italy, on December 21, 1947. Ida immigrated with her family to Canada and eventually built her life in Woodbridge, Ontario, where she lived surrounded by the family she treasured.
elevated qG4y2 Ida was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished Nonna. A kind and generous soul who always put family first, she possessed an incredible work ethic, keeping her home spotless inside and out. She was passionate about her garden, lovingly tending it to grow fresh ingredients for the delicious home-cooked meals she prepared with such care and affection that brought everyone together and created countless memories around the table.
elevated qG4y2 Ida is survived by her beloved husband Mario; her sons Julio (Alba), Roberto (wife Julie, predeceased), and Johnny (Victoria); her adored grandchildren Anthony and Vanessa; and many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and extended family who were precious to her.
elevated qG4y2 Ida’s warmth, strength, and the love she poured into every aspect of her life will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Rest in peace. You will be deeply missed.

I was saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Ida! Her reputation has been and will continue to be that of a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will always bless her family! May she rest in peace!
Ida was a remarkable lady. I always looked forward to my visits to see her and Mario. She was always happy, caring and loving. I cherished the time I spent with them. I am sure she is looking down from heaven and ensures we are all ok. She was taken too soon. May she rest in peace. My deepest condolences to the family.
