It is with deep love and gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of our beloved mom, Ida Pingitore (DeFrancesco) who peacefully left us at the age of 95, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Surrounded by the comfort of her home and the love of her family, she passed gently, just as she lived – rooted in family, strength, and quiet grace. She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Francesco.
Ida was a devoted and loving Mother to Tony (Joan), Pina (Rob, late), Marisa (Tom), Lucy (Mike) and Michael (Patricia).
She was a proud Nonna to Giulia (Rocco), Paul (Sandra), Sarah (Daniel), Nicole (Junior), Daniel (Danielle), Anthony, Michael, David (Natalie), Carlie and Johnny. As well as Bisnonna to Adaya, Robert and Ava.
Ida will be fondly remembered by her loving brother Michele (Ines), sister-in-law Maria, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Although she is no longer physically with us, her model of peace, kindness and exemplary Calabrese meals will live on in our memories infinitely.
Our adored Ida will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Pina and family, so sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences, may your Mom rest in peace.
