elevated wm5am Just 11 days shy of her 90th birthday, Irène passed away peacefully on November 27, 2021 at Fountain View Care Community. She was predeceased in October by her beloved husband, George, of 65 years. Family meant everything to Irène, and she was a caring and devoted mother to Debbie and a loving grandmother to George. She will be dearly missed. The family gathers strength in knowing she is now at peace with the love of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sunnybrook Foundation in Irène’s memory would be greatly appreciated.
elevated wm5am The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.) on Wednesday December 1, 2021 from 10:30am -12:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph following the visitation at 12:00 pm. Dear Debra,
So sorry to hear of your Mom and Dad’s passing. My brother Peter sent me an email to let us know about your Dad and then when I went to the web site discovered your Mom had passed as well. They now can be together again.
Bob and and I had been wondering how Uncle George and Aunt Irene were as we had lost contact in the last few years as we were dealing with our own health issues.
