elevated XD1UF The family of Irene Chin is heartbroken to announce her passing on October 16, 2026, at the age of 101 years.
Devoted wife of Wilfred (deceased) and beloved mother of Phillip (deceased; Ellen), Allan (Pat), Michael (deceased; Michelle deceased), Peter, and Angela (Tom Haapanen).
Dear grandmother of Andrew, Wardy, Alana (Ed) Yam, and James; great grandmother of Tristen Yam. Predeceased by siblings Ida, Albertha, Leslie, and Lester.

Aunty Irene,
Dearly loved by her brother Leslie, Daisy (wife of Leslie) and the entire family of Hew’s. Rest in peace. Your presence will be greatly missed. Love you so much.
Condolences to the family of Aunt Irene. She was the last of her siblings of that generation, and “played a fine inning of 101”. Aunt Irene was always a very kind and gentle person. Easy to talk to and be around. I have very fond memories of spending time with Mikey at their home on Barnett Street, Montego Bay. Aunt Irene always took extra care of us, and we could always look forward to some good Chinese food prepared by her and Uncle Wilfred.
Rest in peace Aunt Irene.
We love you and will miss you dearly.
