elevated uohIS Obituary
elevated uohIS Irene Funk, age 49, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2020 while asleep at the family’s residential home. She was born on December 28, 1970 in Manila, to Alfredo and Dolores Santiago. She was a graduate of Medical Technology in 1991 at Centro Escolar. She married Neil Funk on December 30, 1997 in Malate. She worked as an adjudicator with Manulife, displaying a wonderful knack for solving problems. Irene, truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, cooking, baking, spending time with the family and playing WWF. Irene was very creative and cared a lot about doing everything well; everything she did, she did for others; everything she did for her family was out of love. Although in the last parts of her life she suffered immensely, she never forgot to love and take care of her family even when she did not feel loved or was cared for. The greatest thing about her was her commitment to peace, kindness and loving others during the hardest times. Her husband Neil; her daughter Cara; her son Joseph; her mother Dolores; two brothers Allan and Eric and many nieces, nephews and cousins survive her.
elevated uohIS Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, there will be a private Funeral Mass on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 10:30 am.
