Obituary
elevated jG6GS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Iwona Dłużniewska on December 18, 2021 at the age of 64. Beloved wife of nearly 41 years to Tomasz Dłużniewski, loving Mama to Alicja (Ian) and Krzysztof, proud Babcia to Zofia, Abigail, and Theodore, loving sister to Grażyna. Her loving embrace connected the entire extended family.
elevated jG6GS Anyone who met Iwona would immediately be welcomed with the warmest smile that made her bright blue eyes twinkle, and if you were lucky, a delicious homemade treat. Her grandkids, her children, and her husband were her greatest joy, and she lived every day with the goal of ensuring their happiness in any way she could.
elevated jG6GS Due to COVID, a private mass and funeral will be held on December 23, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Arthritis Research Centre Society of Canada (https://www.arthritisresearch.ca/support-us/tribute-giving/).

I would like to express how sorry I am for your great loss.
I deeply regret not having been able to pay my respects or to say my final good bye to Iwona in person. I watched the service on line.
Iwona was a beautiful human being and she will be missed by many.
In her warm, compassionate heart full of love and devotion to her family she made room for others too, offering them support and sharing her wisdom.
I am not even trying to imagine, how much you suffer because of her painful absence. But I believe that her gentle spirit will always stay with you all and her legacy of loving kindness will be passed in your family, from generation to generation.
Be gentle with yourselves now, take good care of yourselves, do everything and anything that could ease your pain and bring you some comfort. Knowing Iwona lets me think that she would like you to do that.
