elevated a6pC4 It is with great sadness that the family of Jacques Dussault announces his passing on Tuesday March 23rd, 2021, at the age of 98 years. Born in Donnacona, Quebec, he attended Laval University and served in the Royal Canadian Navy before settling in Toronto in 1947.

elevated a6pC4 Jacques led a very prosperous and joyful life filled with many successes, both personal and professional. He published a French newspaper, L’Alliance and founded Dussault Translation Limited which he ran for fifty years. He also spent some time as a director of Winston’s restaurant.

elevated a6pC4 Jacques enjoyed time at his summer home in La Malbaie, QC with his family.  He made many close friends there and eventually became a part owner of the local resort, Le Manoir Richelieu.

elevated a6pC4 Jacques was an avid tennis player at the Toronto Cricket Curling and Skating Club, and after selling the house in Quebec,  became a member of the Briars Golf Club.

elevated a6pC4 Those who knew Jacques will remember him for his kindness, his generosity, his sense of humour, and the extraordinary stories he recounted about his life’s adventures.  He had a big heart and an even bigger love for life, but most of all he adored his family.

elevated a6pC4  Jacques will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 69 years, Denise and his daughters Nicole and Diane (Ed).  Papa will be forever in the hearts of his four grandchildren Derek (Angela), Andrew (Erin), Christina and Matthew.
