He was the President and CEO of Commercial Credit Corporation until he joined Scotiabank in 1979, as a General Manager in the Commercial area before accepting the position of Senior Vice President with overall responsibility for the Bank’s retail portfolio.  In 1995 he accepted the position as Director General Adjunto with the then acquired Mexican Bank, Banco Inverlat, with added responsibility in Argentina and Chile.  Shortly after retirement at age 66 he was a Founding Partner in a very successful Mexican Company Pendulum, which he oversaw for over 5 years.

elevated txVlA Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society in Jim’s honour.

Jim’s motto in life was to always put family first and to be the best you can at all things!
