elevated wJ2dR It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our father James John Sutchy …on October 3, 2021

elevated wJ2dR He was a son first to Polly and John Sutchy, and a father to Susanne, David, and Ryan. James was a grandfather, who was more preferably referred to as J.J. to Wynter, Jackson, Luke and Noah. The family dog Bodie loved him too!

elevated wJ2dR There was nothing more important to our father than company, and having people surround him, no matter if they were new faces or old friends. It didn’t matter who you were, or why you were there, he enjoyed when those would drop by for a visit.

elevated wJ2dR J.J. was born August 25, 1942, in downtown Toronto. He was a salesman of business equipment and commercial real estate for most of his life and was recognized as one of six top salesmen of the year in 1974. He also loved his garden and yard kept it like the garden club would arrive at any moment to grade his efforts. When he wasn’t tending to his outdoor hobbies, he could be found watching his beloved Leafs and Blue Jays, or his favourite team south of the boarder the San Francisco 49ers. We are so happy that J.J. was able to spend one more beautiful summer at the family cottage on the shores of Lake Simcoe and watch the many sunsets with a small traveler he used to toast those glorious moments.

elevated wJ2dR Please join us on Friday, October 15th at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home located at 211 Langstaff Road East, in Thornhill between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm for followed by a burial service at 1:30 pm.
