elevated lnLrV Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Regini on October 23, 2026, at Cortellucci Hospice Vaughan, at the age of 93.

elevated lnLrV Beloved wife of the late Ivo, loving and devoted mother of Lawrence (Antonella) and Stephanie (Oreste Testani), and proud Granny of Matthew, Emma, Jonathan, Andrew and Nicholas. She also loved her granddogs, Tobi and Bailey. Dear sister of Joyce and the late James. Janet will also be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.

elevated lnLrV Born and raised in Scotland, Janet later made Canada her home, where she met Ivo at the Palais Royale. They married, raised their children and built a life centred around family. Strong-willed, fiercely independent and devoted to those she loved, Janet was the heart of the family. As its matriarch, she brought everyone together for Sunday dinners, a cherished tradition that kept her children and grandchildren close.

elevated lnLrV Janet found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. An avid reader, she loved settling in with a good book and a sweet treat. She enjoyed exercise classes with friends and looked forward to her regular Thursday and Friday outings for groceries and coffee. Her weekly phone calls with her sister Joyce in Scotland were especially dear to her, keeping their lifelong bond strong despite the distance between them.

elevated lnLrV A devout Catholic, Janet drew great joy, comfort and strength from her faith, which remained a guiding presence throughout her life.

elevated lnLrV Janet will be remembered for her remarkable strength, independent spirit and unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind a lifetime of wonderful memories and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
