elevated k9O6q Obituary
We sorrowfully announce the passing of Janina Żak , beloved wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother, at the age of 100.
elevated k9O6q She was blessed with a beautiful life that spanned a full century—a hundred years filled with grace, wisdom, kindness, and boundless love. Her life was a gift to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, and the warmth of her spirit will continue to live on in all of us.
elevated k9O6q As a teenager, it was apparent that she had the hands and heart of an artist. She was planning to study art but the breakout of World War II prevented her from pursuing this talent. In 1949 she married Konstanty Żak at the Church of the Transfiguration in Jałówka, Poland. He passed away in 2017. Janina was a devoted wife and mother and she used her many talents in gardening, cooking, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, sewing and helping her six children with their homework. Since 1990 she travelled between Poland, the USA and Canada to help with all of her grandchildren. While in Poland she was a parishioner of the Church of Our Lady of Mercy in Wasilków, and she was a faithful Adorer at the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Białystok.
elevated k9O6q Her strong faith and devoted prayer life was the inspiration and support of the whole family.
