Dear Mom
Words can not express the sadness I feel in my heart today it’s breaking knowing that I will never see you again or even just be able to hug you. You were a best friend to me. The bond between a mother and child is such a tremendous force and that’s what you were to me. We would do so many things together. Shows, shop, movies and so much more.
Steadfast and strong and always my biggest fan. You gave me the skills and the tools to raise Christian and Nicholas and to love them the way you loved me. You faced many challenges in your life time. Took on the challenge, surpassed them and bet the odds.
It was this awful disease that took so much from you but it could not take your heart. Even when you could no longer recognize us I felt your heart when you gazed into my eyes. Remembering how you were always up for the game, the trip, the adventure and even the challenge, but most of all you were always up for the fun. That’s how you shall be remembered.
From the Easter egg hunts to the games you would organize at Christmas your grandchildren will remember you even one day possibly doing the same with their own children because of you.
My boys fondly remember those trips to the coffee truck, when we visited you at the office and you would take them out proudly to the truck and offer them anything they wanted as a treat, it’s the little things we hold dear to our hearts. I thank you for loving me and my family so much.
You will be so sadly missed but never forgotten. I will keep you near and dear in my heart forever.
May you finally rest in eternal peace, I love you with all my heart.
Hugs & kisses
Rosemarie ❤️❤️❤️
Rose,
What a beautiful tribute to mom. Your words are accurate and heartfelt. I know you miss her so much and we will lean on each other to get through this. As much as I love mom, I love you and we will honour her memory by sharing her love for life and living her spirit. You are a fantastic mom and mom was the best nonna. She will watch over us and we will feel her everywhere we are and even more when we are together.
I miss her and there is a hole in my heart, one that will never be filled. You are my hero and my inspiration now.
Rose,
I’m so sorry to have missed you at the home today. I wanted to give you, Loradonna and your Dad the biggest hug possible. I will wholeheartedly miss seeing your Mom and you guys were an absolute pleasure to have gotten to know.
I will always remember Mom’s laugh, her dance moves and her love for you ladies and Carlo. Poor Carlo….tell him I miss him! Take care of him. My heart goes out to him. The love he had for Jean was immeasurable.
I’m so sorry, Paravia family. May Mom rest in peace…dancing in the heavens…
Love,
Melissa Lembke- MHC

Lori
Dear Carlo, Rosemary and Loradonna,
I do feel with you in this time when you have to say goodbye to a wife and mother. Completing the cycle of life gives us sorrow, but at the same time solace in the knowledge that the suffering has an end and that the person we lost is now in a peaceful state. Having lost my wife recently makes me feel with you so much more intense and I want to express my deepest condolences to all of you.
Dear Wolfgang,
Thank you for your message and for your support throughout my mom’s illness. I came to know you as a boss, then you were a mentor (you still are), and more importantly, a friend. Your kind words to me and my family are so deeply appreciated, especially at a time when you continue to be in mourning. I am glad you had a chance to meet my mom when she was healthy and full of life. May you be comforted in your time of sorrow as well.
Loradonna

To Rose, Lori & Carlo
My sincerest condolences on your loss. Jeannie was always the life of any party. I will always remember so many fun times with our families — especially the Saturday night donuts by the dozen from Mr. Donut; the trips to the Niagara Region to pick fruit; and, when we weren’t doing anything, the drive to Niagara Falls (or Buffalo) for a pizza.
Dear Anita,
Thank you for sharing the beautiful memories and for the kind words.
So glad we are cousins.
On behalf of all of us, I thank you for thinking of us at this time.
Lori
Dear Lori, Carlo and Rose
Although only Lori knows me I have heard a great deal about you all and wish to express my most sincere condolences for your loss. Having lost my own mother less than a year ago I can very much appreciate what you are going through. In time I am sure you will celebrate Jean’s life and all the many memories she left with you. May she rest in peace and God bless you all.
Dear Mohammed,
Over the last year I have come to know you as a friend and so much more. Your words of support provide comfort and warmth even though we are an ocean apart. I wish you had the chance to know mom when she was alive and well. She would have enjoyed making you a cup of tea and sharing stories with you. She may have even taken out the good tea cups for you.
Dad, Rose and I really appreciate your condolences and blessings. Thank you.
Lori
Dear Carlo, Rose and Lori (and family),
I am very saddened to know that Jeannie has left us.
My condolences on your loss.
I will miss her more than words can describe.
I hope that the wonderful memories of Jeannie in life will always sustain and comfort you in the coming years.
Dear Mary,
Thank you, thank you, thank you for always going to visit mom and being so engaged with her. You always managed to get a reaction out of her, even in her last days of life.
She loved you beyond words. Your friendship was so special. Thank you for all your support with the funeral service and providing advice when I turned to you for assistance.
You were always in my mom’s heart and I am sure I speak on behalf of my dad and Rose, you are always in our hearts and look forward to a continued friendship and creating more memories in mom’s honour.
With gratitude and love,
Lori
Dear Anita
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughts of love and support in our time of sorrow. It brings me such comfort knowing that you remember the times we spent growing up. We spent a many weekends with your parents, yourself, Johney and Danny. I too remember stopping by the Mr. Donut on Jane St. directly across from St. Phillips church before arriving at your place on Falstaff. A couple of months ago my dad and I drove by your home there and remembered all the good times we had there. The weekend trips were always an adventure. How times have changed who drives to Buffalo or Niagara for coffee or pizza anymore?
Now we get to hold all the wonderful memories they left us. Unfortunately, they all will be sadly missed forever.
Thanks for all the support you have given my sister and I through the years as she battled this awful disease.
Sincerely ,
Rosemarie
