elevated CMK2S October 2, 1957 – January 5, 2021
elevated CMK2S It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the death of our dearest Jennifer. God called onto Jen on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, and she passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Beloved wife to Chandra Teeluck and devoted and indulgent mother to Julia and Kathryn. Loving sister to Carmen, Olga, Enid, Loretta, Angela, Olive and Andrew, and proud aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She was also a devoted daughter to her 97-year-old mother, Norma Coelho, whom she continued to care for throughout most of her own illness. Jennifer was a brilliant woman with a deep curiosity of the mysteries of life. She spent more than a decade researching and pursuing her theories of the ancient civilizations, wishing to impart ancestral knowledge onto this generation. She presented the ideas contained within her manuscript at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2008 and 2011. Jennifer will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. May she rest in peace.
Please accept our sincerest sympathies at this very sad time. May Jennifer Rest In Eternal Peace and you all be cradled in the comfort of beautiful memories.
Dearest Jenny, May you rest in the bosom of the Lord. R.I.P.

It is with a broken heart that I share these memories of my beloved baby sister.
Life can be cruel but who are we to choose our destiny. Never in my wildest dreams would I have foreseen having to write an obituary for Jennifer. Being one of the oldest sisters, I unconsciously assumed that she would be doing that for me and I know she would have done an excellent job being the skilled writer that she was.
When I migrated to North America, Jennifer was about to start high school. She had scored at the top of the country in the high school entrance examinations and was granted a scholarship to the top Roman Catholic High School. I remember being very proud of her. In those days the results were published in the local newspapers and I carried that paper around for weeks to show my friends. Since then Jennifer has had many academic achievements. When I would write her the simplest of notes, I had to be careful because I knew she would be checking my grammar and my sentence construction.
The story of how she acquired that scar on her shin ….we would drag her along to most of our misdeeds so that she would not tattletale. One day we took her along to raid a mango tree and she fell while we were crossing the railway line. She was walking too slow so we carried her for a short distance then put her down and she fell. That was a licking from mom that I never forgot.
She had an undying love for our mom, caring for and about her until she herself needed to be cared for. Her last words to me were “be sure mom is safe and taken care of”.
Rest in peace until we meet again. Love you always.

Always there to listen and care for others. Jennifer was the aunt I turned to and could speak freely with. She allowed others to shine and truly be themselves. There aren’t enough words to describe how safe and loved she made me feel as her niece. Sweet Aunty Jenny, you will always be greatly missed.
Dear Uncle Roy, Julia, Kathryn and Nick,
We share our deepest condolences and we want you to know we are here for you. Find strength in each other, remember and feel the unconditional love, kindness and courage that epitomised Aunty Jenny.
With love,
Chandra and family,
I was blessed the last two years to move closer to you all and spend a lot of quality time with my beloved youngest sister Jenny. I will treasure the times we shared attending church, caring for mom, ice cream and long chats at Dairy Queen and spending time with you, her family of whom she is so proud.
Remember, love is eternal and she will always be there with you.
With all my love,
Angela
I am deeply saddened by the loss of my Aunty Jenny. Her bright and positive spirit always made me feel loved and welcomed. I will miss her dearly and will keep her memory alive in my heart. May God watch over her always. My deepest condolences to the family during this very difficult time.

It’s never easy saying bye to our loved ones, and as tough as it is right now in time you will be able to move on and remember all the good times you shared together and values she passed on to you. Our prayers and love are with you now and always.
I met Jennifer at Ryerson University in the early 2000’s. However, after a few years at Ryerson I left and Jennifer and I kept in touch over the years. I always look forward to meeting her occasionally for tea, and to talk about events in our lives. I believe my friendship with Jennifer was special and a blessing from God. The news of her passing is very sad for me, and I will miss her a lot! May you rest in peace my friend!
Chandra, Julia and Kathryn please accept my deepest condolences. I pray that the Lord Jesus will comfort your hearts during this time of grief.
Chandra and Daughters/TheTeeluck Family and Olive Miller/ The Coelho Family, we offer our sincerest condolences to all of you on the passing of your beloved Jennifer. A life gone too soon, but she will be forever in your memories and hearts. May her soul RIP. Blessings to all of you and to her wonderful mother, Mrs. Norma Coelho.🙏❤😇💐
To my dear brother, Rai, my nieces Julia and Kathryn, and to Jenny’s immediate and extended family
Wish I could be there to give you a hug and comfort you at this very sad time.
Jenny was such a great sister-in-law to us, always with a welcoming smile on her face. I remember our annual visits to Canada for the labor day weekend when Jenny would get up early in the morning to prepare breakfast for us. Of course it was daal and roti with freshly picked ‘baigan’ from the garden for ‘baigan choka’, which my brother Rai would assist with. We would tease her about being a ‘pro’ at clapping the paratha roti. But that was Jenny’s personality, showing her love and devotion to our brother and his family.
Dear Jenny, we would always love you and remember the kindness you extended to us.
As we believe in Hinduism, you have just moved across to another realm where we would all go. You have just gone ahead of us. We pray for your soul as you make you make your way to heaven.
With deepest condolences,
Heera Teeluck.
I will miss my dear aunt but I will always carry with me the memories that we shared when I was young. Caretaker and role model in one. I love you Aunty Jenny. You will always be in my heart.
We are deeply saddened to hear of Jennifer’s passing.
Chandra, Julia and Kathryn, we send our deepest sympathy and condolences.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May her soul Rest In Peace.
Dearest Chandra, Julia, Kathryn
Mom, sisters, brother, nieces and nephews
The Lord will uphold and strengthen each of you as the coming days unfold.
Tenderly, may time heal your sorrow
Gently, may friends ease your pain
Softly, may peace replace your heartache
And…long may the warmest memories remain
Rest in eternal peace Jennifer, free of pain and suffering.
Stay strong Chandra, Julia and Kathryn. We all share your pain and loss.
Love

My deepest condolences to my dear friend Olive and your entire family. Special condolences to Jennifer’s husband and daughters.
Although I never met Jennifer, I can relate to her illness and passing, having experienced the passing of my youngest sister from the same cause. As with my sister, I know that Jennifer is now resting peacefully in a world where she is no longer feeling pain, but living eternal life.
God Bless!
My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. May god guide you through this difficult time.

Our most heartfelt condolences to the Teeluck family
Rai, Julia, Kathy & Nick
Jennifer is a special & warm person who will be gone from our sight but not from our hearts.
Gordon and I send our condolences to the Teeluck and Coelho family. Jennifer and I met in 1st form at St. Rose’s High School in Guyana at the age of 12. We rode our bikes to and from school together each school day for about 4 of our school years. We continued our friendship in Canada, celebrating family milestones and having endless conversations about our kids as they matured. I will miss our 50+ years of friendship and treasure the time we spent together.
As her sister mentioned, she was a skilled writer. Jennifer shared her expertise as the Editor of the St. Rose’s Alumni Newsletter in the early days of the Association. We have all lost a dear friend and alumna.
Rest In Peace my friend.
My condolences to Jennifer’s family during this time of grief
Auntie Jenny has always been a role model to me. It always seemed she was successfully balancing numerous activities/projects at the same time. Regardless of where she came from, she never let her objectives be out of reach. All the while, raising 2 wonderful girls in a loving marriage and constantly taking an active role with the rest of the family. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her without a smile. When you feel like you’re falling behind on life, that’s inspiration and perspective.
My condolence Kathryn, Julia and Uncle Roy for your loss.

My deepest sympathies to the Coelho and Teeluck families. I went to St. Roses High School with Jennifer and do remember her fondly.
May God grant her peaces and welcome her into his Heavenly Kingdom. May He give her family strength and comfort at this time; knowing that she is with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus.
Jennifer and I went to St. Angela’s and we shared our godmother, Mrs. Brotherson! My mother, Barbara Harris was a mentor to her sister as a pupil teacher. Jennifer in her quiet manner looked out for me.
To the Coelho sisters and family, please accept my condolences on behalf of the Harris family! Always a smile on her face, may Jennifer Rest In Peace and in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
Dear Family of Jennifer:
I am so incredibly saddened by this loss. I worked with Jennifer at Ryerson University, where she was the rock, the heart and the soul of our School of Child & Youth Care. I got to know her as the kindest, gentlest and yet fiercest and strongest colleague ever. She touched students, staff and faculty members in special ways, always with words of kindness and generosity. The only rule she had was for no one to ever mess with the photocopier, and we all obliged! Jennifer introduced me to some members of her family when they were visiting for various reasons. And she spoke often of her beloved bunny rabbit.
My deepest sympathies. I will think of Jennifer wherever she may be and wish her the peace and rest she deserves.
I am deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Jennifer’s passing. She was a dear friend and colleague and I am so grateful to have gotten to know her during our time working together at Ryerson University. To Chandra, Kathryn and Julia I offer my heartfelt condolences.
Thanks Ted, was about to check Jen’s email contact for your email address.
Deepest Sympathies to the entire family. We share your loss and grieve with you all. Regrets

My heartfelt condolences to the Coelho/Teeluck families on the loss of Jennifer. I’ve known Jennifer since primary school and then we went to the same high school. She was the sweetest person, friendly, kind and soft spoken. She loved to laugh! We kept in touch over the years and I tried to see her every year I went over to Canada, and we spoke often on the phone. Will miss her!!! My deepest sympathy to Chandra, Julia, Kathryn and Nick. May she RIP!!!!

To the Coelho and Teeluck families. Please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of Jennifer. She and I were classmates in 1972, in Form 5G, at our Alma Mater, St. Rose’s High School in Georgetown Guyana. She was a sweet, gentle, soft-spoken person with a genuine smile. May she RIP in her heavenly home. Gone too soon.
My family and I are deeply saddened by the passing of a dear friend. We wish Chandra, Julia, and Kathryn, her sisters and brother, and all her loved ones our sincerest condolences. May she continue her journey with her inimitable peace and joy.
Dear Teeluck/Coelho family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies for your family’s loss. Jennifer Teeluck was such a beautiful woman and I am so grateful to have known her at the School of Child and Youth Care. She made so many contributions to support my transition to Ryerson after I joined the department in 2012. (I had a lot of questions!) I loved every opportunity to see her and catch up with each office visit. She had a gorgeous smile and always made such a difference to each day. I especially appreciate how welcoming she was to each of my three boys when each of them would visit campus once a year. (We live out of town.) Over the years, she made a big difference to so many students, staff and faculty.
My deepest condolences to you and the rest of your family. I hope that your memories will sustain you during this difficult time. Please know that she is in our thoughts.
Sending you warmest wishes and prayers,
Tara

My condolences go out to the family of Jennifer on the loss of your loved one . I attended primary and high school with Jennifer . She was easy going, hard working and had a great sense of humor. I hadn’t seen Jennifer post high school until a last lap reunion in 2012. We conversed ,reminisced and laughed about the good times we had at St. Angela’s and St. Roses . We were all happy to see each other and celebrate our friendship over the years. Jennifer will be dearly missed .May God bring comfort to her family and may she rest in eternal peace.
Prayers for comfort, strength and understanding for the entire Coelho and Teeluck families and friends. Peaceful sleep Jennifer.
I went to school with Jennifer and Olive and have the fondest memories of our childhood friendship. Thanks for the memories.
Love and blessings.
Dear Chandra, Julia, Kathryn and Nicholas and Family.
I was deeply saddened at the loss of Jennifer, your devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. There is little I can say that will comfort you at this time of your bereavement.
May we all be comforted knowing that she lives, and will continue to live in the minds and hearts of everyone that knew her.
Many blessings to you and your family at this time of sorrow.

My deepest sympathy to Jennifer’s family. I worked with Jennifer at Ryerson University. She was a wonderful colleague. I recall her wise, gentle ways. May she Rest In Peace. And to Jennifer’s family may her memory be a blessing.
You were a colleague for only 18 months but remained a dear, dear friend for years. I miss our walks and lunch dates in the Quad or the cafeteria when the weather did not permit us to share the bench in the sun. We could talk for hours about our dear ones, work, life… Your intelligence, your big heart, your dedication and your love for Chandra, Julia and Kathryn are what I will always remember you for. Rest in peace, my dear Jennifer <3
