elevated pCKWo God called Jeoung-Ja Chung peacefully on February 3, 2025 at the age of 80. She will be missed by her loving husband Won-Kyu. Cherished by her dear daughter Helen (John) and her grandchildren Emily & Andrew. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives and many friends.

I met Helen’s mom through yonsei alumni about 40 years ago. We went to same university so we gotten closer. She treat me like her younger sister and very nice to me and my husband.
She was very bright and talented women. Especially her authentic Korean cooking was loved by her grand children.
All these years of her illnesses she was never showed her weakness but she try to be very active and put on a happy face as much as she could. I dmire her for that.
My condolences to chung선배님 and Helen, John, Emily and Andrew.
She will be missed dearly.
I’ll cherish our memories together.
I still hear her calling me 호상엄마.
I love you 헬렌엄마 !!

I met Mrs. Chung through yonsei alumni about 40 years ago. She treated me as her younger sister.
She was a bright, talented and a very courageous women..
All these years of her illness didn’t make her down but she lived a full life with dignity and full of energy.
I admire her for that.
She was a dedicated wife and mom to her precious only daughter Helen.
She gave all of her energy to her and grand children.
She will be missed dearly.
I’ll cherish our memories of happy times together.
I still hear her voice calling me 호상엄마.
My heart goes out to all of you.
Rest in peace .
