Jerry Goliszek passed away at Sherwood Court in King City on May 2nd, 2026 at the age of 93.
Jerry was born in Poland and moved to Canada in 1960. He was married to his loving wife Margaret for 69 years. Father to Christine and Richard (wife Irene), and grandfather to Jason and Daniel.
He was the type of person who always put others before himself and never asked for anything in return. He touched many people’s hearts with his kindness, generosity and his sense of humour. He always had a smile on his face and took the time to have a meaningful conversation with every person he met.
Mechanic by trade, Jerry always had to have his hands busy. He had a passion for fixing, tinkering and building.
elevated wyQFx Jerry was well known across King City as a small business owner and volunteer at Sacred Heart Parish. He also played an active role within the Polish community as a leading organiser at Polonia North.
elevated wyQFx Jerry loved being at the cottage in Muskoka. It was his second home and he would always count down the days until summer to spend it up North. Sitting by the fire, being on the dock and looking off into the lake, it was his paradise.
Jerry was loved very much by his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Goliszek Family, extended Family and friends. I am truly taken back by the sudden passing of a gentleman who was my Boss for many years and trusted me and taught me the skill of the trade in which I enrolled in as a career. Had many laughs together about everything we could make fun off making our days more enjoyable. My mother Maria passes on her Condolences as well and I am sure my Father Salvatore and Jerry will connect in their new home called Heaven. Jerry was a great neighbour and all around great person. A respected figure in the King City community. He was an inspirtation, he kept fit and active right into his 70s and 80s and was always willing to help.
He will be missed. RIP
