The DeSouza family.
We have such fond memories of Doug. He and and Anne were an inspiration. Their energy, creativity, intelligence and generosity were admirable. It is hard not to see their extraordinary longevity as the result of lives well lived. Our condolences to (Uncle) Doug’s family.
Doug will ever remain dear to my heart..He was such a loving and jovial sort. He gave his time generously to the Don Valley Art Club, going far beyond his duties as President, and advising each of us separately when he saw we could do with his mentorship. He was much loved.
Uncle Doug was the best! Always smiling, always interested in how I was. Always kind. He will be missed.
A fine and decent man and neighbour. Our dad enjoyed their many times together playing bridge and golf. He certainly loved his flowers.
One of the kindest men I have ever known. He made me feel welcome into the family when i married his grand daughter. I will be forever grateful to him.
