Known for his faithful, kind and gentle heart, love of golf and music; especially opera. Beloved husband of Joan for 71 years. Heartfelt condolences to everyone. Although I only spent a handful of moments with John over the years, we always had such a lovely time chatting and I will always remember how warm and friendly he was.
