It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the sudden yet peaceful passing of Jose Gabriel Canto on May 16, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of 55 wonderful years to Laura Canto (nee Paiva Terceira). Loving father of Susy (Steven), Goretti (Edward) and Steven (Elizabeth). Proud Avô of Amanda, Kyle, Mackenzie, Brianna, Raquel and Milena.  Jose will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of his extended family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.
