It is with sadness and much love that we announce the passing of Jose Gualberto Medeiros in Alliston surrounded by the love of his family. Jose was born in Rabo de Peixe, São Miguel, Açores, Portugal to the late Laurenio Soares Medeiros and Angelina Medeiros (nee Vieira). He is predeceased by his beloved wife Maria Manuela Medeiros (passed August 5, 2014). Caring companion Immaculata Napoli and loving father of Sandra (Jerry) Barbosa, Sherry- Lynn (Dean) Turchiaro and Jessica Juvet. Adored Avô to Zachary, Justine, Brigitte, Harrison and Cole. Jose will be fondly and lovingly remembered by his family and many dear friends here in Canada, United States and in Acores. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society

I will always remember my brother for his love of fado. One of my favourite things was to hear him sing, “Maria do Ceu”. His favourite singer was Tony de Matos, whom he often imitated. I will miss him. Sending our love and support to our nieces, Sandra, Sherry-Lynn, Jessica and their respective families.
Love you auntie – we are also thinking about the loss of your big brother.

My uncle had a great voice. I have fond memories of him singing at family get togethers at my grandmother’s house. Then the rest of the brothers would sing. Beautiful memories. Sy sympathies to my dear cousins Sandra, Sherry and Jessica. Last night I was flooded with memories of our sleepovers. We played Olivia Newton John “Let’s get physical” album.
So sorry for your loss Sandra and family. I hope you are able to find some peace and comfort in all the beautiful memories created with your Dad. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

My deepest condolences to my cousins Sandra, Sherry, and Jessica and your families, also to my uncles Nuno, Laurenio, Renato, and Luis. My heart is especially with my mom, who loved her oldest brother very much. I send love and hugs to Immaculata as well. I will always remember Tio Zeca’s voice, and his smile. I pray that his soul rests in peace, and finds company among our loved ones who have passed before him. He will be sincerely missed!

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Joe. He was a dear friend in our community of Tottenham. Joe was such a kind man and was always so pleasant to speak with. My son Domenico will miss seeing him everyday in the summer on our walks. My condolences to his family.
My condolences to Joes family and friends, Joe has been a wonderful friend/ neighbour since 2017 . We have enjoyed having such a great neighbour and my father enjoyed all our conversations together.
