elevated Gjo8T It is with great sadness we announce the passing away of Jose Luis Tavares on October 4, 2020 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of the late Eduarda (2011) and current spouse to Marcia. Caring and devoted father to John (Daniella) and Anna. Proud Vovo to Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Vanessa and Andrew. Jose will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Lucia Martins, Maria De Luz Costa, Fatima Medeiros and brothers Eduardo Tavares and Artur Tavares. Jose will be reunited with his parents Bevinda Tome, Joao Tavares and brother Joao Maria Tavares. If desired donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

My dear daddy; I’m so so happy the girls & I were there for you these pass difficult years. I will forever cherish our skpye calls from the nursing home every week and the joy on your face when you saw me and the girls on line I will also cherish our daily visits to Hamilton and how you glowed with excitement when you saw your granddaughters: the girls loved you soooo much! RIP daddy and you are with mommy now. The girls and I miss you so much; but the beautiful memories we had together will give us strength. Until we meet again daddy.. XOXO
