elevated nzY58 The man of many names born January 21 1956.. Jose, Manuel, Joe-Manuel, Joe, Manny, Joseph, Papa Joe, brother, son, Tio, Vovo, and my fav: Dad, has passed away at 65 years old on January 24 2021 after a battle with cancer.
elevated nzY58 Anyone who knew him by one of these names knew he had a heart of gold. Joe would give and never expect anything in return. A true angel on earth has passed.

elevated nzY58 Joe worked as a dock manager for over 20 years at waterpark place. He also worked countless cleaning jobs his whole life. He loved movies, music, and his family. This man was always taking care of his loved ones everyday, no matter what.
elevated nzY58 Someone once asked “why do you work so hard” we respond so quick to say, “because I am my fathers daughter.”
elevated nzY58 Jose was such an empathetic soul. If he saw a loved one crying, he would surely cry too. He felt what they were feeling, and would do whatever he could in that moment to help however he could.
elevated nzY58 See, do not pray for his place in heaven, because his spot has been most definately granted. We pray for him to watch over us and to be reunited one day in heaven.

So very sad, my sincere condolences to Jen, Jess and Kelly and all family members. I had privilege to meet this man, a dad and grandpa to 3 beautiful daughters and 7 grandchildren. Rest in peace Joe.

It was always evident to me that his family meant the world to him. His love, hard work and dedication toward his family and others can now be easily seen in his daughters actions as well. I was shocked to hear of my cousin ‘s passing, am very sad that he’s no longer with us, I will miss him but will keep the good memories in my heart, he was a gentle soul. My deepest sympathies to my cousins for this great loss! He will always be remembered.

Anyone who knows papa Joe knows how much of a loss it is to everyone, he was the perfect example of what a father and a man should be.
I will remember him every time I watch the leaf game knowing he’s there with us, as well I will always remember him with a smile knowing he is at peace with his wife and brother while watching over all his grandkids as now they have one more angel keeping them safe.

My deepest condolences to the Matos family. I worked with Manny (Jose) at WaterPark Place for over 20 years.
I remember him bringing me his daughter Jennifer’s resume, he was so very proud of his children. I met with Jennifer and immediately offered her a position with our company. She worked with us for a few years right up until she her first child.
Manny will be missed by all who knew him.
