It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father Jose Pereira da Silva in Toronto at the age of 94. He was born in Ponta Del gada, São Miguel Island, Portugal to Jose and Maria da Silva. He is pre deceased by his beloved wife Urgina (passed in 2018) and son in law Jose Soares (passed in 2023)
elevated W3Jkp Loving Father to Alda (Jose) and Dennis ( Helena). Avô to Vanessa (Brandan), Justin (Lauren), Hannah and Christian. Bisavô to Mina and Kai.
elevated W3Jkp Jose’s life was one filled with love for his family, his many friends, and for those whose lives he touched. His captivating stories and sharp memories of the old country created smiles, laughter, tears, and inspiration for his family. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all. In memory of Jose, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
