Christmas was especially meaningful to him, and he was renowned for the magnificent nativity scenes he lovingly crafted from scratch each year. An extraordinary handyman, he seemed able to fix anything, always ready to lend his skill and time to family and friends. He was also an exceptional baker, delighting loved ones with traditional Maltese desserts made with care and pride.
