elevated vKRzQ It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph (Giuseppe) Zaffino. God called Joseph on July 7, 2026 when he passed away suddenly yet peacefully at home.
elevated vKRzQ Joseph was born in Serra San Bruno, Italy and at the age of two, came to Canada on the ship Biancamano , accompanied by his mother, Angelina, and his older sister, Maria. He was a tool and die lathe operator by trade in his younger years.
elevated vKRzQ Joseph was a beloved brother to Maria (Frank), Rosetta (Dan), and Bruno (Fawzia). He was a cherished Zio who held a special place in the hearts of his niece and nephews: John, Teresa (Nathan), Christopher (Josephine), Armaan, Faraaz, and Aazam. He was also a proud great-uncle to Ava Angelina, Anthony and Amelia, who brought him much joy.
elevated vKRzQ We find comfort in knowing that Joseph has been reunited with his beloved parents, Angelina and Michele, whom he loved dearly and missed greatly.
elevated vKRzQ Joseph will be remembered for his humorous spirit and genuine kindness. Known for always finding a song to accompany any conversation, his infectious laugh and his just and fair nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
elevated vKRzQ Though our hearts are saddened by his loss, we are grateful for the memories he leaves behind. Joseph will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and all whose lives were touched by his love.
