It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Josephine Badame who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 79 due to Cancer.
elevated 61vTe Josie, as she was fondly known, was born on January 20, 1946, in Italy to Sebastian and Josephine. She grew up in Toronto alongside her siblings. She is survived by her siblings George Badame and Marie Jennerich (Helmut) as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
elevated 61vTe Her life will be celebrated during visitation on Tuesday February 11, 2025, from 4 -8 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd. E, Thornhill, ON) A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 12 pm In the Chapel of St. Joseph at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery& Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the Mass.
elevated 61vTe We will miss her dearly but take comfort in the fact that she is now in a better place, free from pain and suffering. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Oh I’m so sad.She was my sister Kay’s Godchild.I was very fond of her.She sent me e-mails every day.We were close;even tho I moved to Italy.My prayers are with her;and her family.May she rest in peace.She will be missed dearly.
