elevated Ng3kU It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Josephine Mendez, formerly of Karachi, Pakistan, on December 24, 2021, in Toronto, Canada. Wife of Esdras Mendez (late) and mother of Jenny Mendez, Jacinta Pint, Juliana (Christopher) Kremzier. Grandmother of Joel (Marelle), Jake (Kimberley) and Jody Pint, Deanna and Kyle Kremzier. Gigi of Joseph, Matilda, Ezekiel and Marcus. Sister of late Gloria (Willie) Sebastian, Roque (Cecile), Patrick (Christine) and Joseph Araujo. Sister in law of Rev. Fr. Bonnie Mendes, Late Cyril (Essie) and Rosie (Joseph) D’Souza.

I have fond childhood memories of visiting Aunt Josephine at her elegant home in Karachi. She and her husband were such gracious hosts. In recent times it has been great to connect with her and Jenny via WhatsApp. I will miss her smile and joie de vivre.
