It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Josip Jarcevic, who peacefully left us on October 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
elevated pu6LA Josip was a devoted father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle, whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew him. He is survived by his ex-wife Eleonora Jarcevic, his beloved daughter Josipa Niedermuller and her husband Stephen Niedermuller, and his cherished grandchildren John Tomislav and David Josip Niedermuller, who were his greatest joy. Josip was predeceased by his beloved son, Tomislav Jarcevic, whom he loved dearly and now joins in eternal rest.
elevated pu6LA He is also survived by his sister Ankica Vasiljevic, nieces Lidija Sever and Roberta Van Niekerk; his brother Ivica Jarcevic, nephew Mijo Jarcevic, and niece Anamarija Obradovic. He will be deeply missed by all his extended relatives and dear friends.
elevated pu6LA Josip was born in Croatia to parents Mara and Ivan Jarcevic. With courage and determination, he immigrated to Canada in pursuit of a better life for his family. Proud of his Croatian heritage, he passed on his traditions, values, and love for family to future generations.
elevated pu6LA Josip had a huge heart and a deep love and appreciation for music. He brought joy to every gathering with his beautiful smile, infectious laughter, and quick wit. He lived his life with compassion, humility, and grace. Through hard work and perseverance, he built a successful business and home filled with warmth, laughter and love. He never hesitated to help others, no matter their circumstances.
elevated pu6LA Josip’s legacy of kindness, strength, and love will live through the family he cherished above all else. He will be deeply loved and remembered forever.

Otišao si tako prerano i prebrzo.
Bio si uvijek svoj, uvijek pun ideja i uvjerenja koja su se često pokazala točna.
Ponekad si nas znao umoriti ponavljanjem, ali si nas uvijek tjerao da mislimo – i bio si u pravu više puta nego što bi priznali.
Imao si svoj stil, svoj način i nikad te nije zanimalo tuđe mišljenje .
Za tebe nije postojala riječ ne mogu, uvijek si govorio ima načina -to će me najviše sjećati na tebe -uvijek si imao volju i uvijek spreman !!
Takvi ljudi ostave vječan trag.
Mina kaže nema vise ni strikana nema vise ni timbeca.

Hvala kume na svoj dobroti, smijehu, pričama i uspomenama koje si nam donio svakim tvojim dolaskom u Đakovo. S tugom u srcu neizmjerno smo zahvalni što si nam uljepšao živote.
Iskrena sućut kumi Josipi i Eli te ostatku obitelji Jarčević od obitelji Begonja.

Was very saddened to hear about Josip passing. I always enjoyed seeing and talking to him with his deep gravely voice and great sense of humour he was always welcoming and kind.
