elevated IHC8S It’s with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jozo Praljak at the age of 46. He will be forever missed by his loving wife Paula and cherished by his dear son Mate. Proud son of Ladislav and Kata. He will always be remembered by his sister Suzana (Mike), brother Marko, sister-in-law Laurie (Ricardo), grandmother Ruza Rupcic, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also reunited in Heaven with father-in-law Daniel and mother-in-law Laurinda Correia. Jozo will be held in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, family and very many friends.

In this most difficult time our family extends condolences to all of the Praljak family. If I was to think of Joe that stands out for me besides his good nature as a person, it would be his infectious laugh and beautiful smile. I can recall many moments just listening to Joe talk about everyday things and his way of explaining things was always with comedy and if it was not comedy he would wrap things up quickly and move on. When we had Joe’s family come to our house as we were growing up we looked forward to the visits and celebrations and laughter. Joe was always kidding around and he always had time to talk about things especially about cool cars. Our hearts go out to all the Praljak family with heart felt condolences. We miss his laughter and smile already. Rest In Peace Joe, till we meet again so we can laugh and smile. BOG I HRVATI

So terribly sad to learn of Jozos sudden passing. I will always remember the croatian picnics, sveti ante, and pig roasts with you.
I will remember traveling in matching mustangs to the races in grandbend. I will remember chats about what cars to avoid and which ones to buy, and you always said “if you need to look at a car, call me! We will look and get you the best”. You had such a great smile and unforgettable laughter, always joking around. You will be so missed by all who knew you, I am praying for Paula, Mate, Kata, Ladislav, Suzi and Marko.
Our family is saddened to hear of your passing. You have left us too soon. Your infectious smile and laugh will for ever be in our hearts
We have travelled so many miles together over the years I can’t think of a town we haven’t seen together. Our journeys always had a purpose a reward and sometimes just a rust bucket but it was worth it travelling it with you. We will always have you with us in our hearts and in our travels until we meet again
I cannot put into words how devastating the news of Joe’s passing. The impact weighs on our hearts as he has been a huge part of our lives. Sending healing prayers and comfort during this difficult time to Mate, Paula and the rest of the Praljak family.
Joe, thank you for always putting a smile on our faces with your positive energy, funny stories and a big thank you for always being their for our family when we needed it. It was such a privilege and honor to have you in our lives and the memories will forever live on.

Losing someone so close is so hard. We have spent many weekends , birthdays and special occasions together. Our lives will not be the same without you here. We know that God called on a majestic person to be with him. Zeljka , Samantha, Matthew and I will be here to support you at any time and any hour. Sending you so much love. Losing my brother Joe has left an indescribable void in our hearts. His absence has touched loved ones here and abroad, including the Croatian community. Joe had a magnetic presence, lighting up any room he entered. Always happy and supportive to others around him. His heart overflowed with kindness, his infectious smile spreading joy wherever he’d go. His stories were legendary, filling our hearts with laughter and warmth all the time. Our childhood memories will always be remembered of the countless family gatherings and celebrations, carefree summer days with all the cousins, aunt’s and uncles at Wasaga beach, the Boyd park bbq’s and adventures, and the fun filled Croatian picnics. These memorable times together will forever be cherished and remembered by us all. Joe’s spirit will live on in the many lives he has touched, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love and laughter. We miss you Joe and will always be in our hearts.

My father occupies an irreplaceable position in my life, transcending all others in his exceptionalism. In times of adversity, he stood as a pillar of strength, guiding us through darkness with the brilliance of his resolve. His determination, etched in the annals of our family history, remains a beacon of inspiration.
The absence of his presence would have steered our lives onto vastly divergent trajectories, underscoring the profound impact he had on shaping our destinies. His legacy, however, extends far beyond the confines of earthly existence. I hold steadfast to the belief that our paths will converge once more in a realm where time knows no bounds, Heaven. We were blessed to have you Joe and Mate in our life. His heart was big. he cared,he helped, he loved.
We spent so many weekends together, we have been true good, happy, bad ,sad, moments together.
