elevated eJ5Rn Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Flora D’Souza, who passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 97, on Friday March 14th, 2025. Born in Nairobi, Kenya on December 15th, 1927, she travelled back to her village in Bastora, Goa to finish her schooling. She returned to Dar-es-salaam, East Africa in 1947 to get married and worked at the East African Harbours Commission before retiring back in Goa. She immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1977 along with her husband Reggie and two younger children.

She was the sister of Felice (late Francis) and proud mother to Natty (Ivor), Violet (late Edward), Brian (Pearl) and Charlotte (late Neville). She leaves behind eleven grandchildren Joshua (Shelly), Kevin (Maria), Conrad, Ian (Rosa), Julia, Allison, Mark, Aaron, Anastasia, Rachel and Rebecca and eleven great grandchildren Liam, Sage, Tristan, Jasmine, Calvin, Kasiah, Kiarah, Kaiah, Kaiius, Jordan and Laila.

elevated eJ5Rn Although our loving mother has left this world, her love and kindness continue to guide and inspire us for years to come. She was the matriarch of the family, and she will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her life was deeply rooted in her abiding Catholic faith, which shaped her principles and guided her every action. Rest in peace Mum.
