elevated qtDmU Obituary

elevated qtDmU It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of June Tytler on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at the age of 95. June was a devoted wife, mother, nana, sister and friend. Born June 1st, 1930 in Kurunegala, Ceylon to two wonderful parents; Victor Leo Daniels and Nora Alice Daniels.

elevated qtDmU June is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Harry Francis Tytler with whom she was married to for almost 70 years. Lovingly remembered by her children Russel (Sylvia), Michael (Mei), Christopher (Frances), David (Andrea) and Peter (Valerie). Loving Nana of Laura (Dom), Jake (Dana), Michael (Samantha), Kristyn, Jordan, Yang and Alexander.

elevated qtDmU June was a devoted wife and mother. She loved spending time with her family especially her five active boys.  She enjoyed cooking, but she loved to bake for her sons, family and friends when there were gatherings at her home.  Christmas and birthdays were two of her favourite celebrations to share with family and friends.  June was a talented artist, demonstrating her skills through painting portraits, flowers and colorful scenes.    June loved sitting in the front yard with her husband, Harry.  They spent many hours of quality time together admiring their gardens and feeding visiting animals, such as squirrels and birds.  June also loved her pets that she cared for, and this also included the occasional stray cat.

elevated qtDmU June will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her extended family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.

elevated qtDmU A special thank you to the staff at the Westside Long-Term Care Home, Etobicoke for their special care and attention that they provided to June.
