God called Justin Lewis (Ginger) Alvis peacefully on January 12, 2026 at the age of 82. He will be forever missed by his ever-loving brother; Mike (Yvonne Nugara), and sister Shirley (the late Andy Mustachi). He will be held dear in the hearts of his nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, family, relatives and many friends.
elevated Qg5Sk Justin is now in peace and ready to meet with his beloved parents; Anslem Helson (Sonny) Alvis and Paulina (Polly) Van Gramberg; Brothers; Francis Reginald (Bobby) (Cyrena Bernice Vandersay), Gabriel Merril (Eunice Rebeiro), and Raphael Anthony (Cucks), and his Sisters; Annette Eroma (P.K. Jayawardhena), Olga Monica (George William Jansen) and Barabara Anemone Ferdinandsz.
elevated Qg5Sk Justin Lewis (Ginger) was born in Colombo, Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and began his academic years at St. Benedicts College, Colombo. He immigrated to Canada in 1967 and pursued a career with the Federal Government of Canada (Customs) and retired after 35 years of service.

Uncle Ginger was a great person. He had a cheeky personality and a contagious laughter. He was fun to be around. May his soul finally rest in peace. .
