elevated t550J We sadly announce the passing of our beloved Karolina (Swieton) Szymanski on November 30, 2022, at the age of 85. Reunited with her husband Zdzislaw (Stan) and predeceased by her sister Veronica and brother Julian. Loving mother to the late Richard (Robin), Donna, Helen (Tim), Steven (Mitzi) and Krystyna (Noel). Lovingly known as Babcia to her grandchildren she will be missed dearly by Amanda (Brad), Paula (Andrew), Taylor (Damien), Luke, Katie, Cullen and great grandchildren Dakota, Chloe and Logan.
elevated t550J Karolina was born in Stanislawowka, Poland and immigrated from England to Canada where she created a wonderful new life. Karolina loved spending time with her family. Her interests over the years included knitting, gardening, cooking, and baking, and she particularly loved playing bingo on the weekends. Karolina also loved music, singing and dancing to Polkas and will always be remembered for her beautiful smile.
elevated t550J We are extremely grateful for the wonderful staff at Revera Kingsway and Home and Community Care partners for their care and compassion over the years.

Helen and extended family, we send our deepest sympathy on the passing of Babcia. She really did have a beautiful smile, we remember it well from the times we’ve met her. We know what a devoted grandmother she was. May she rest in peace.
