So many fond memories of our time together. We will have a Mass said for Kathleen, at our home parish on Manitoulin Island.
Fairwell friend. You will be missed❤️
Oh, Kathleen. What a sad, 😔 difficult loss for your family & friends. We will remember you so fondly, you of the delightful laugh and beautiful countenance.
Rest well, dear one. You will be missed.
It’s hard to say goodbye to someone who has been part of my life for over two decades. ❤️ We shared so many stories, laughter, happy moments, and tears. Her beautiful smile, infectious laughter, and kind heart touched me deeply and will stay with me forever.
She was a truly special woman, incredibly talented, smart, and full of warmth. I feel blessed to have known her and to have shared so many memories with her.
You will always hold a special place in my heart, Kathleen. Rest peacefully, dear friend. You will never be forgotten.
My deepest condolences to Eve and the family. Kathleen will always be remembered to me as a mentor who helped me become the strong and successful person I am today.
I worked for Kathleen from the age of 15 right through university. As I mentioned to Eve, for me no hair salon has ever compared to Goldielox, Kathleen had the knack for it, there was always a good conversation going on and the sharing of life experiences. She was a great friend and role model who will be missed but always remembered.
Such a beautiful face, a kind soul with a brave heart. Thank you for your warmth and love. Always.

Dear Kathlen you will be missed by many and of course myself .
My deepest heartfelt condolences to the family
Kathleen and I became friends the instant we met and that was only about 3 years ago. I wish it was much longer. She was a true delight. So much fun. So interesting. Kathleen you will be missed. It hurts to know that we will not have the pleasure of your company and your radiant smile again during this lifetime. Rest in peace and happiness dear friend. xx And my sincere condolences to Eve and to Kathleen’s loving sisters.
Sally and I are overwhelmed with sadness. It is comforting to know that Kathleen passed away peacefully with her family by her side. We had many conversations about how proud we are of our daughters, and about our families, and particularly ” our Scottish Mums”. She loved her family. There are many fond memories over the past 4 decades. Be at peace, Kathleen.
It is with great sadness that I bid farewell to my friend and hairdresser, Kathleen. There was nobody quite like her. She cut my hair for over 30 years but she always said it was not just about the haircut. It was the sharing, the conversation. Kathleen had a unique opinion on most things in the world. She was kind. She was honest. It was a joy to sit in her chair and listen to her commentary.
Dear Kathleen, I will miss you so much. Rest in peace.
Dear Eve and Kathleen’s family,
My heartfelt condolences to you.
For 35 years, my visits with Kathleen, in the salon, did indeed make me feel radiant, and I always looked forward to my next appointment, when we would pick up our conversation right where we left off. She was very special, and I will miss her dearly.
May God hold Kathleen in His loving arms and bring comfort and peace to all who loved her.
With sympathies,
Connie and Family ❤️🙏
She had one of the most beautiful souls I’d ever met. Seeing her throughout the day always brought warmth to the room.
Today heaven got an angel back and we can take solace in that she’s looking over us in peace.
