elevated 1EbXW Peacefully on Jan 15^th after a brief illness, in her 90^th year. Wife of the late Michael John Kerby, Mother to Julia Thomas (John) and Daniel (Sonia), Stepmother to Jane, proud Grandmother of John-Mathieu (Sabrina) and Sebastien, doting Great-Grandmother of Hudson, Logan & Madeleine.  Survived by her brother Tom (Marilyn), predeceased by her brother Joe & parents Michael & Julia Dunleavy from Ireland. 

elevated 1EbXW Born at home in Headford, ON the youngest child she was in charge of the farm at the age of 10 when her mother became ill.  Her proudest achievement was putting herself through Loretto Abbey and then Loretto College where she made lifelong friends.  Working at City Service and later as the Bookkeeper for John Kerby, she also helped found Sancta Maria House with her friend Joan Quinn, taking girls off the street in Toronto.  She loved to travel and was a great cook & gardener, devoted Catholic.  Always her sense of humour came through even when ill.

elevated 1EbXW Visitation will take place at Holy Cross Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T 2C7 on Sunday, January 21, from 2pm – 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial is planned for Monday, January 22 at 12:00pm in the chapel of St. Joseph within Holy Cross Funeral Home, followed by Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Reception to follow at Holy Cross Funeral Home.
