elevated EG7Gy It is with great sadness that we announce Teresa Lau Sai Chun So, mother to Charlotte Barron, John So, Juliana So, Margaret So and Luke So, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024 at the glorious age of 92.
elevated EG7Gy Lau Sai Chun is well known for her love of music and practiced opera singing for most of her life. She also taught music as her career in Hong Kong where she was born and raised. She moved to her adopted country of Canada in 1985 with her late husband Thaddeus Yuet Hang So and their family. She will be missed by all her friends and family for her cheerful disposition, bright smile, compassionate heart, kindness to all and her beautiful voice.
elevated EG7Gy She is survived by her five children and five grandchildren, Rose Barron, James Barron, Taylor So, Jordan So and Christian Choi, and son-in-law Ken Choi, Luke’s partner Nathalie Horn and grandson-in-law Johnny Fernandez. She is also survived by four brothers John, Windsor, Bosco and Shek Leung Lau and one sister Yun Gnor Lau in Hong Kong and their families, her brothers-in-law Francis, Andrew and Joseph, and sister-in-law Lucy and their families, and her extended family with many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

I am very saddened to hear of Lau Sai Chun “Teresa” So’s passing. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. May you find strength, comfort and peace during this difficult time.
Although i did not get to meet Lau Sai Chun “Teresa” So. I want to wish her a beautiful and peaceful journey.
