It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Leda (nee Romano) at the age of 78 in Maple surrounded by her family. Leda is predeceased by her beloved husband Salvatore (passed 2002) and daughter Lori (passed 2019). Loving mother to Nick (Peter) and Lisa (Tim). Nonna to Alex, Jessica, and Gavin. Sister of Giaconda and Bianca. Leda’s captivating stories created smiles, laughter, tears, and inspiration for her family. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mackenzie Health Hospital – Richmond Hill.

We are very saddened for the loss of our friend, our thoughts and prayers are with you Nick and Lisa, can not forget the times we spent together. One year we met your mom at a barbecue party, there was also music playing , her and did not miss a dance, it was nice to have spent an afternoon having fun. About two months ago we met her at Fortino, we chatted for a while, it was nice to share some good moments. May God reward her for all her hardships in life, and May she Rest In Peace.
Thank you. Your kind words are appreciated.
Thank you so much. I know she was happy to have you as friends. She always talked about the good times you had.
Le, It’s been just over a couple of weeks since you left us. I miss you so much. I miss not seeing you on FaceTime each day morning and afternoon. We used to discuss the programmes we watched on TV. Your favourite LAW & ORDER SVU with Mariska Hagertay and Heartland. We talked about the Turkish shows that we both loved.
I miss not going downtown with you…remember the time we went to St. Lawrence Market and had lunch there…olives, cheese & bread. And that other time we sat outside on Yonge St. at this hole in the wall restaurant and had margaritas watching the people walk by… we had so much fun….you were always making me laugh!
I love you and miss you so much!
