elevated 5UO3Y It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas on Feb 27, 2020 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of 55 years to the late Sophie, loving father to Teresa, Mary and Diana, proud grandfather to Colin, Owen and Ondrea, great grandfather to Cayden and Casey. He will be sadly missed by his sister Sophie Shaw and family.
elevated 5UO3Y Douglas was born in Soochow and raised in Shanghai, China. He had a successful career in the freight shipping industry and a member of the Lions Club and Jockey Club in Hong Kong. After he retired in 1989, he moved to Toronto, Canada. He loved to joke, eat spicy food and hang around with friends and family.
elevated 5UO3Y Due to COVID, a private funeral will be held on March 3 at 12:00 PM at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home. If desired, donations can be made to charity of your choice.

Whenever my dear Uncle Douglas was present, we never felt bored. I enjoyed hearing all the stories he told us since little. He is very faithful to his wife and parents. He is talented in a lot of ways including excellent penmanship and the playing by ear ability. He will be missed! May he Rest In Peace. God Bless🙏
