Thank you for your kinds word Rita and Minnings Family
My deepest condolences to the Minnings family.
In speaking with several of the North York Hockey League Referees, we agreed there was no better place to Referee than at one of Leitha’s rinks (Fenside, Don Mills). If you were lucky enough to become one of Leitha’s regular Refs she would often check up on how you and your family were doing. Leitha genuinely cared about all her ‘boys’ and the boys definitely missed her when she had to step back from cashiering. On behalf of all her NYHL ‘boys’ and ‘girls’, we would like to thank the Minnings family for allowing us to spend time with such a wonderful lady. NYHL Ref #11, Norm Belyea. Just one of the boys.
Thank you so much for all your kinds words my mom will be missed so much. She will always be in our hearts.
