elevated EdKsc Obituary
elevated EdKsc It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Leonard DiGiulio on September 4, 2025 at the age of 89.
elevated EdKsc Leonard always considered his family as his greatest achievement. He would look down the table at his kids, grandkids and great-grandkids and say, ‘Nancy, look at what we made. We did good.’
elevated EdKsc Leonard was a sports fan, mostly cheering for the Boston Bruins, a gardener, a bowler and a reader of crime novels. He captained the SS Chooch and became a great dance recital photographer. He designed elaborate Halloween displays, always enjoyed travelling or sitting watching the boats go by at Wasaga Beach.
elevated EdKsc However, his greatest notoriety came at Christmas when Leonard was Santa Claus. For well over 50 years, he delighted children and adults alike with candy canes and hearty HO-HO-HOs.
elevated EdKsc Leonard leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Nancy (Angellotti), his three daughters, Marie Spinosa (Jerry), Anita Connolly (George) and Laureen Dubeau (Richard); his twelve grandchildren Danielle Spinosa (Jesse Pajuaar), Alex McKim (Chris), Lisa Spinosa (Graham Lowe), Nadia Spinosa, Brianna Windross (Murray), Patrick Connolly, Bradley Connolly (Brigitte), Anthony Connolly (Melanie), Louissa Connolly, Sebastien Dubeau, Gabriel Dubeau and Qian Dubeau; and six great grandchildren Derek, Sloane and Vaughan Windross, Theodore and Abigail McKim and Margot Connolly.
elevated EdKsc Leonard received the best care at Uxbridge Hospital and donations to the Uxbridge Hospital Foundation in his name would be appreciated. https://www.oakvalleyhealth.ca/foundations/uxbridge-hospital-foundation
My condolences to the DiGiulio family. I looked forward to seeing Len every Tuesday night at bowling and always think of him when he is not there. He will be dearly missed.
An incredibly nice guy. He leaves behind a bowling legacy . Len will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure to meet him. I am glad I was one of those fortunate people.
One by one our family is getting smaller. You will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure to grow up with and know you. Our love to your wife Nancy and your 3 beautiful daughters and their families. Rest in God’s wonderful garden of beauty and peace…love you cousin Lenny.
My Dearest Condolences to the DiGiulio Family! Leonard was a fantastic man and great heart ❤. I was good friends for many years in bowling 🎳. He will deeply missed and he will always be in our hearts and prayers ❤ 🙏⚘.
I succeeded Len as the treasurer of the bowling league. What a tough role to fill. I don’t think I will be able to do it for 41 years.
I know he will be dearly missed by all.
My condolences to the family.
Our deepest condolences to Nancy and family. We are very saddened by the loss of Leonard. He was such a kind and wonderful person who always made everyone feel so at ease. We’ll always fondly remember the times we shared. Leonard will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Very sad to not be able to attend the service but wanted to share that Len was a good man. He was always so kind to my family and I have wonderful memories of him from Tuesday night bowling. I’m thankful he was in our lives because he made them brighter and better in so many ways.
Our deepest condolences to Nancy Laureen and family. Len will be missed by many.
Our sincere condolences to Nancy, Marie, Anita, Laureen and families on Leonard’s passing. I have many fond memories including Christmas visits at my parents’ house and Ronald’s football pools with Leonard, my brothers and friends, among others.
In the end, our families are truly what matter the most, and Leonard was blessed to have a large and loving one. “He did good”.
God Bless!
