Lidwina (Kim Nio) Gho passed away in Keswick on December 4, 2021.  She was a devoted wife to Douglas Ng.  The third-born; she was a beloved sister to Cornelius, Martina and Maria (Jack Koo).  Lidwina was pre-deceased by her parents Simeon (Joe Gie) Gho and Fatima (Tjoa Jang) Gho.  Her energy was spent showering her love to her many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Prior to life in Canada, she was awarded Drs.of Economics from the University of Indonesia.  Among her many roles, she taught at Atmajaya Catholic University during its inception.   Under President Soekarno’s era, she was Head of Budget and Technical Coordinator for the National Monument of Indonesia and the Kawali Distribution Coordinator for the approval of foreign aid in Indonesia.  The Department of State Secretariat provided military entourage for her transportation.   She was always very active and sociable.  Immigrating to Canada in the 1970’s, she took an active interest at City Council meetings, the local catholic parish and Carmelite order in Markham, Sutton and Newmarket.   She was very charitable to many catholic charities.  Her last remaining years were working at Canada Post and owning, managing Park Motel (Sutton) and Full Service Car Wash (Hamilton).  Visitation, Church Sermon, and Internment will be at Assumption Catholic Cemetery and Chapel on December 8th, 2021.
