God called Liliana Edda Damiani peacefully on November 6, 2024 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Franco. Caring and devoted mother to Anna (Claudio) and Frank (Angela). Proud grandmother to Laura (Brandon), Sara (Angelo), Diana (Michael) and Celine (Alian). Cherished great grandmother to Lily. She joins in heaven her parents, Anita Romagna and Achille Salvitti, as well as her brother, Cladinoro. Liliana will be forever remembered in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Liliana was born in Farindola, Italy on August 9, 1934. She immigrated to Canada in 1960, joining her husband, and together they built a successful family business. Her love, strength, kindness and generosity touched so many lives, and she will be dearly missed.

My heartfelt condolences to all of you ❤️. I cherish so many wonderful memories of your mom. She was truly a shining light in our lives—always uplifting others and never speaking ill of anyone. Her courage and unwavering encouragement touched everyone around her. The love she shared was truly unmatched.
I loved her deeply and will miss her immensely. However, I find comfort in knowing this is not goodbye, but rather a “see you later.” She is dancing in heaven, surrounded by peace and joy.

Una delle nostre Femmine Forti – a union of elegance and strength .. mother, mentor and matriarch.
A beautiful example of a loving and loyal neighbour, teacher, friend, and (bis)nonna who balanced and affected change and direction in the world of Damiani Jewellers.
Personally we remember with fondness and delight the Del Ria Drive moments and memories, a neighbourhood community of parents who found common ground in their commitment to raising children all the while Mrs. Damiani’s introduction and offerings of pizza ‘a la Napoletana’ to the kids on Del Ria (something she learned to do just days before her departure from Italy at the port of Naples).
And like a diamond .. Liliana Edda is forever etched in our collective remembering.

She is now in a peaceful place along side Frank senior looking over her dear family as she has always done with such grace.
It was a beautiful, touching and tastefully conducted ceremony.
