It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lina (Correia) Giles. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the young age of 58.
elevated MBgwu Loving mother to Vanessa (Andrew) and Tiffany (Chris). Cherished Vavo of Miles and Luke. She will be held dearly in the hearts of her siblings José (Ines), Maria José (Antonio), Manuel (Grace), Alcida (Luis), Mário (Lucy), Saozinha (Jim), and Catarina (Vince). Her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends will miss her dearly.
elevated MBgwu Family and friends will always remember her as the most resilient, loving, and selfless woman. Lina loved spending time outside enjoying the sunshine, reading and spending time with her family especially her newest additions, Miles and Luke.

Growing up with Vanessa and Tiffany, Lina was an key presence in my life. From sharing her love of banana splits to watching me Friday after school while my parents worked, Lina made sure I was well looked after and most importantly, having fun. I will always look back on those times fondly, and will miss her greatly. Condolences to her entire family, but particularly to her daughters who she loved deeply.
Our dear sweet Lina. It was such an honor and privilege to know you. Your friendship and love towards our mom (Joyce) meant so much to us and made life at Woodhall Park Care Community so much happier for her. You were truly special to our family and we will never forget you. I hope that you are no longer suffering or in pain. You made everyday brighter. May you rest in peace now beautiful Lina. You will always be in our hearts forever. Love from the Tucker Family.
