It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lineu Pereira Da Costa, who left us peacefully on October 2, 2025, at the age of 80.
Beloved husband of Teresa Rodrigues DaCosta, devoted father to Sandra DaCosta and Anabelle Trigiani, and cherished father-in-law to Dan Trigiani. Lineu was a proud and loving grandfather to Gianluca, Nadia, and Dominic, who brought endless joy and laughter to his days. He will also be deeply missed by his brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-law, and countless nieces and nephews.
Lineu had a lifelong love of the sea — a passion reflected in his fondness for boats, birds, and the calming rhythm of the water. His gentle nature, warm smile, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
In his 2 final weeks, Lineu faced his diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia with courage and grace. Though his illness was quite brief, his legacy of kindness, generosity, and family devotion will endure forever.
Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever sailing with the sea he so adored.
