It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Teresa Valent. God called Lisa on Monday, December 1st, 2025 and she passed away peacefully at Dorothy Ley Hospice. Beloved wife since 2014 of Kevin M Blusiewicz. Loving mother of Mia Blusiewicz. Daughter of Decimo and Velia Valent. Sister of Stephanie Knezevic (Johnny) and Robert Valent. Zia of Veronica and Violet Knezevic. God Daughter to Elio Valent and Julie Pauletig.
She will be deeply missed and warmly remembered by her extended family and friends, both in Canada, Italy, and USA.
Lisa’s legacy is one of strength, kindness, and commitment to Family. Born in Toronto, Lisa was a dedicated mother, friend to all, passionate world traveler, talented artist, expert skier, lover of music, fierce competitor, and selfless volunteer.
May she find eternal rest and peace.

Dear Decimo, Velia and your entire family, Lisa was an amazing human being and she will be missed by so many. I will always remember her with tremendous courage and how she loved skiing with the Dolomites and especially skiing with her dad. I’m so happy that she was able to spend time with the ski group a few years ago with her daughter and husband. She was truly an inspiration to me and I’ll never forget her, and neither will the members of the Dolomite Ski Club. Rest peacefully Lisa.

Lisa you were the most generous and giving person I have ever met. It was through volunteering that we met. We spent countless hours together at the school volunteering. Many times the two of us because when no one else was available or willing Lisa always was. We became friends along the way. Which I can not be more grateful for. I loved how you and I always answered each other calls or text without delay. You were truly a person who could be counted on. I hope you felt the same from me.
I am thankful for the time we had together the memories I have of you. I will treasurer them always. I wish we had more time. Even just one more time just standing and talking longer then we should as there was someone waiting or one more time hanging out in your kitchen enjoying a treat.
