elevated 6szoq It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucio Cappelletti. God called onto our sweet Lou on Thursday, December 15, 2022 and he passed away peacefully, at Mackenzie Heath Centre at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by his beloved parents Corrado and Adalgisa Cappelletti and by his beloved sister Maria Sanfelice and brother in law Raffaele, Sudbury.
elevated 6szoq Lou will be fondly remembered by his loyal long-time partner; Carolyn Saville. His cherished siblings Tony (Aniela) and Joe (Carole Lauzon) Sudbury. His loving nieces and nephews Tony Sanfelice (Deborah), Niagara on the Lake, Linda Hood (Perri), St. Catherines, Anthony Cappelletti, St. Louis, USA and Neil Cappelletti, Thornhill. His adored great niece Samantha Bannister, St. Catherines. Lou will be sadly missed by all his many cousins and extended relatives and friends.
elevated 6szoq Lou came to Sudbury in 1954 from Guardialfiera, Campobasso, in the region of Molise Italy. He then came to Toronto in the early 1960s and settled in Thornhill since 1981. There he worked for Crothers (Toromont Industries) for over 35 years. He also was currently working at Golf Town where he had been working for the past 15 years.
elevated 6szoq Lou was a parishioner at St. Luke’s Parish in Thornhill, Ontario. He was devoted to his family who will miss him very much and who will always cherish the beautiful memories of his life and his love.
elevated 6szoq Lou was an avid golfer and enjoyed everything from playing golf with his family and friends to watching the tournaments on television. Alongside golf Lou was also a big hockey fan and was very passionate about his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs.
elevated 6szoq Lou will always be known for his kindness, generosity and unselfishness. He demonstrated these traits in many aspects of his life. Especially when he would open up his home to many family members from Sudbury, when they first came to Toronto. He would always be ready to take them in and let them live with him until they were able to get settled.
elevated 6szoq In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or Diabetes Canada.

I will miss his kindness to my Aunt Carolyn and family, I am greatful he was a part of my life..Take care bug say hello to my parents and other family you may now.
When I first moved to Toronto to go to school, Lou took me into his home. I was young and it was a scary experience, being from a small town. But Lou made me feel at home. He filled the house with love and laughter. And he drove me to more places than you can possibly imagine. Thank you Lou for your kindness and generosity. I am eternally grateful. Sending my deepest condolences to the family.

To Carolyn and the entire Cappelletti Family. Sending my sincere Condolences on the Passing of Lou. I met him years ago as Carolyn lives in my building. Back then Lou used to come after work for dinner with Carolyn. We all used to be sitting outside with the dogs. He would come walking up and have a talk and a laugh with us ladies. He will be missed with his sense of humour and big smile. Rest well Lou. Love Sweet Sue as he used to call me. Sending Love and light to you all.

Raffaele and I were so very sad to hear of Lou’s passing . He was a sweetheart , sarcastic witty and wise , he fit right into our family and will be dearly missed . Our deepest condolences to all of his family as well as Aunt Carolyn .

Every time I saw Lucio he would have a big smile on his face. Back many years ago, my dad would take me to where he worked and he we show me around the yard and the big machines. That’s where we would have to pick up the leafs tickets he was getting for us. I’ll never forget that. Rest In Peace cousin !!

My condolences to the Cappelletti family on Lou’s passing. I’ll miss his laugh and good nature. I worked with Lou for many many years at Crothers. He knew his stuff. We lost touch when he went to Golftown but, if memory serves, he would attend the Crothers Quarter Century dinners. Rest in Peace my good friend….
Lou you will be deeply missed. I will forever cherish hockey and golf talks when you and Aunt Carolyn would visit for dinner, or at our many family reunions. Your humour and wit meshed greatly in our family. You are family. I will always think of you when the Fragoli or Limoncello bottles come out at any occasion. Love you Lou. Rest easy.
Our sincerest condolences to the Cappelletti family. I knew Lou from the beginning of his employ at Golf Town, where our mutual passions for golf were matched, while Lou was generous with his knowledge and tips. We had a number of coffees and a few sweets together over the years as his gentle and calm demeanour was well received. I last saw Lou by coincidence in the later part of 2022 at a local bakery where we took 1/2 hour to catch up. I knew something had changed but his true escense had not! I recently visited Golf Town, sadly only to be informed of his passing, which hit me like a hammer. Lou you are missed and not forgotten. God Bless
