elevated iEV3l Nicome, Lucy Rita – Peacefully on March 21, 2020 at Sunnybrook Hospital. Daughter of the late Emelda and Ernest Pitilal. Cherished sister of Yvonne, Michael, Peter and Cleveland and the late Sonny, Vora, Anita, Frank, Francis, Grace, and Clyde. Beloved mother of Stylie, Peter, Patricia, Mary, Curtis and the late Jerome. Mother-in-law of Tricia, Julietta, Lisa, Keith, Nazim and Lizabeth. Grandmother of 16. Great Grandmother of 20.
elevated iEV3l It is with very heavy hearts that our family has made the difficult decision to hold a private funeral with our immediate family, to honor our dearly departed, Lucy Nicome.
elevated iEV3l This decision was made due to the evolving status of COVID-19. We have chosen to do this in order to minimize the threat of spreading the coronavirus.
elevated iEV3l Ultimately, we recognize that the health and safety of our loved ones comes first.

To my aunt, my godmother, my second mom. You were always there for me in good times and bad. You loved me as if I had no faults. You always had a smile for me. Even in my adulthood you still tried to spoil me. My mother could not have picked a better person to look out for me. I will love you always.

My dear sweet Ma you gone peacefully after a great fight of life knowing your intentions was to us one more time. The reality was always the case to come to Trinidad one more time for us and especially at the time took it for granted to apply for my visa time slapped my face with responsibility. Even now that will be pain I will always live for the rest of my life thought we spoke and several times you said ,”don’t worry Tony boy I understand and want you take care of family “. My life till now was a full great happiness but great part of it has departed just as my Ma as well may the light of virgin Mary lead you to your place of rest one peace and full joy all my love my wife Nalene children Nyron and Veer are with us in pray for u love love love Ma I will always miss u

Aunt Lucy I’m going to miss you lots you where a wonderful aunt to all of us. Im going to miss u sitting beside grandma lots even at the family picnic. It’s going to be the same without you here I’m going to miss you laughing at smiling with auntie Michelle, grandma Auntie Joe, and Lisa my Dad barb and everyone else but now you are in a wonderful place. I’ll always remember the wonderful time we had with you. It’s going to be really hard without you here but I’ll always remember that you will be here in are hearts no matter what everytime time when I look at the nice clear blue sky I know that ur watching us over us.

My condolences to all the family members of our dear Lucy on behalf of The Catholic Woman’s League of St. Monica’s Parish. We will miss her. May she rest in peace.
