Luigina was born on March 15, 1923 in Carapelle Calvisio Provinca di L’Aquila. Luigina loved to tend her superb and productive vegetable garden and her magnificent fruit trees and did so until she was 90. She worked as a seamstress when she came from Italy and her handiwork at making beautiful needlepoint / crocheting was an art to be rivalled. She was a marvellous cook and equally proficient baker of scrumptious traditional Italian cookies. She spent 8 very happy years at Valley Vista Retirement Home. Luigina had many friends, family and neighbours through the years whom she treasured. We will all miss her dearly.
