It’s with heavy and saddened hearts, that we are announcing the passing of our beloved Luis. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Elena, his sister Mercedes, brother-in-law Jose, his nieces Guadalupe and Carmela, abuelita Luz, life partner Robin and many relatives and friends in Canada, El Salvador and all around the world.

God called you home early because you’re the most loving, kind, and caring person. I will always remember your kind words and giggles always willing to share your knowledge. Rest in peace Luis.
I am so saddened to hear of Luis’ passing. I had the pleasure of teaching him French at Cardinal Newman High school. He was a wonderful and very respectful student, quiet but I always saw a smile on his face whenever I made a joke or we had some fun in class. He will be greatly missed.

Luis was a kind man, positive & always willing to help wherever he could. Luis was often the to go to for our team when we had tech issues “check with Luis, he will probably know”. Even though the team was remote, you could hear the smile in Luis’ voice when we chatted. It’s still hard to process. Luis will be missed by many and we were fortunate to work alongside such a good man.
You are one of the most honest and down to earth person I have known. Your spirit is filled of positivity and you always seem to find the glass half full. The time we spent together was short but we made the most of it. I wish I could hear your voice again, just to tell me that everything will be ok and you got this. May you rest in peace Luis.
