Dear Joe, Tony, Lino and family
Our hearts are broken at the passing of our beloved zia Louisella.
We have such wonderful memories visiting her with my mom at her home on Grace Street. She would share her delicious baking and we would reminisce on stories of their childhood growing up in Cervinara. I still can hear her contagious laughter and beautiful smile. These memories of we shared will live in my heart forever.
Cara zia Louisella you have left a huge void in all our lives, especially your sister Amalia. You will live on in all our hearts forever.
Rest in please in our Lord’s loving arms.
Condolences and Tribute to Aunt Luisa:
To my dearest Joe, Tonino, Lino, and your families,
There are people who never truly leave us, because their love remains sewn into the lives of those who stay behind. Your mother, our dear Aunt, was one of those rare souls. Today the pain is immense, but so is our gratitude for having shared moments with her that we will carry in our hearts forever: her smile and that unique ability she had to make us all feel at home. We hold you close with all our affection, mourning an extraordinary woman who will never be forgotten.
The passing of an aunt leaves a void that tastes of childhood and roots. Today the world feels a little colder without her light, but her memory will remain a sweet and indelible refuge. We are close to you in this moment of deep darkness, our hearts full of sadness and esteem for the beautiful person she was.
In this time of great trial, we pray that you may find comfort in the memory of the goodness your beloved mother sowed during her life. Her soul is now in a place of peace, but her guidance will continue to live on in your actions and your hearts. We offer our deepest condolences, sharing in this immense sorrow with you.
Personal Memories
The void left by Aunt Luisa is as vast as the heart she put into every gesture. Personally, I will never forget my time in Canada—the pure joy that radiated from her eyes when we were all gathered around her table. That was her kingdom and her happiness.
Between her delicious lunches and the scent of her famous taralli, Aunt didn’t just offer us food; she gave us warmth, family, and a sense of belonging that I will always carry with me. Tasting her delicacies was a ritual that united us, and seeing her smile while watching us eat is the most beautiful image I wish to cherish.
Today the table feels emptier, but the flavor of her generosity will forever nourish my dearest memories.
Dearest Aunt Luisa, I want to thank you for another wonderful memory of your visit to Cervinara, when you stayed with me and Mom at my house. In the evenings, in front of the fireplace, we used to watch television. You followed the series Inspector Rex, about that wonderful police dog. We watched it right along with you. It was then that I began to fall in love with that fantastic and intelligent dog.
Because of you, I understood the greatness and love of these wonderful animals and their incredible loyalty. Since then, I’ve become so attached to my nephew Andrea’s dog, and I’ve learned to shower her with affection.
Thank you for everything, dear Aunt Luisa. These memories of our long time spent together will keep me company forever.
A huge, warm embrace to you all with infinite affection,
Liliana, Erminio, and Annamaria

In Loving Memory of Aunt Luisa
Dearest Joe, Tonino, Lino, and families,
It was with deep emotion that we attended the Holy Mass in suffrage of our beloved Aunt Luisa. Thanks to the streaming technology, the distance between us vanished; it felt as though we were right there with you, sitting in the pews, sharing the same atmosphere of prayer and reflection. The priest’s words were truly moving, offering a faithful portrait of who Aunt Luisa always was: a simple, gentle woman with an immense heart.
Dear Joe, we feel the need to tell you from the bottom of our hearts that you can and should be proud of yourself. During the years Aunt Luisa spent in the nursing home, you performed an act of love that goes far beyond filial duty. You cared for, protected, and watched over her with such tenderness that the roles were almost reversed; you became like a parent to her.
You let her want for nothing.
You were a constant and reassuring presence.
You bravely faced both the weight of every practical burden and the sorrow of the darkest days.
With your devotion and care, you were able to heal every wound that life had inflicted upon her, transforming the thorns of the past into a present of pure love.
In this journey of devotion, you were not alone. A special thought goes to Tonino and Lino, who, with their presence and affection, completed that circle of family love that Aunt Luisa was so proud of. Together with you, her grandchildren and their families represent the most beautiful legacy of this extraordinary woman: they are the fruits of her kindness, those who will carry her sweetness and the strength of her roots into the future.
Aunt Luisa has left this world surrounded by the most precious gift of all: the certainty of being deeply loved. We embrace you all tightly, hoping to ease your suffering, certain that from today you have one more angel watching over you.
With immense affection and admiration.

Dear Bove family,
I’m so very sorry for the loss of your dear mom and Nonna, Luisa. My fondest memories of her were in the backyard at Liz and Joe’s celebrating Christopher’s birthdays over many years. She was always so happy, a big smile on her face and such a great laugh. She would always shout “Eh! Commara Jean!” to me and give me such a warm hug. Those were great times that I will always remember and cherish. Great friends and your mom’s eggplant parmigiana!! The best in the world!
Your mom was fortunate to have lived a long, full life but more importantly to have such loving and caring sons. You were always there for her, no matter what she needed or wanted and she was truly blessed to have you and to know that she was so loved.
Your mom will be missed. May she rest in eternal peace.
With love,
Jean
Our deepest condolences. Thinking of you during this difficult time.
Dear Bove family,
My deepest condolences to all of you. Rest in peace dear Zia Louisella.
She always had the warmest hugs, a welcoming spirit, and a laugh that could light up any room. Her sense of humour and the way she made everyone feel at home will never be forgotten.
Even though it’s been a while since I last saw her, I’ll always cherish her funny stories and that truly infectious laugh. She leaves behind so many beautiful memories that will stay in our hearts forever.
Dear Joe, Tony, Lino and family.
My deepest condolences to all of you. It was a pleasure of taking care of Louisa at Pine Grove over the years. She was a very kind lady. We did have some many great laughs with her. May her memories always remain with you.
